How it works
Fill out the quote form. You’ll need to provide a 1,000 word sample of your novel to receive the free sample edit and pricing estimate.
In 24-48 hours, you’ll receive an email from me with the edited sample attached and a price quote. At this point, you’re welcome to schedule a optional, free virtual consultation to meet with me. You can do so via email or by going to the Meet the Editor section on this site.
The next step is to review and sign the contract to book editing services. We will discuss editing timeline and fit you into an available slot in the upcoming months. This requires a $50 deposit which counts toward the overall cost.
When the agreed upon date arrives, the first half of the total cost will be requested. Then you send over your novel to me via email.
I’ll spend around four weeks reading the manuscript in full, providing in-document commentary and typing up either an editorial letter or style sheet depending on the service. Proofreading would involve only in-document commentary and strikethroughs.
Once the project is finished, the remaining portion of the invoice will be requested and the edited manuscript will be returned.

How do I know whether we are a good fit?
Great question! I believe editor-writer compatibility is essential. For this reason, I always offer a free 1,000 word sample edit and virtual consultation prior to booking.
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! If you decide to schedule a consultation, I will send a Google Meet link for us to meet virutally on a mutually agreed upon day and time.
What are your typical turnaround times?
Developmental editing - around four weeks
Line and copyediting - around four weeks
Proofreading - around two weeks
What genres are you willing to edit?
Anything under the romance spectrum!
Do you provide a contract?
Yes, you will have the opportunity to review the terms before signing. Once you've accepted them, I will send over the contract via Docusign for our signatures.
Do you offer payment plans?
I offer Affirm and Klarna at checkout for those who would prefer to use an afterpay option. Otherwise, a $50 deposit is required to book. Then, half of the total cost will be requested when editing begins and the remaining portion when the full editing services are completed.
